Heather Sargent Appointed to Statewide Advisory Committee

Heather Sargent, Marketing & Communications Coordinator at First Citizens Community Bank in Mansfield, Pennsylvania, has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s (PA Bankers) Young Professionals Advisory Committee. Sargent will serve a 3-year term, starting July 1, 2022.

The committee is charged with launching and further developing the PA Bankers’ Young Professionals initiative, with the goal of continually identifying, training and offering ongoing support to emerging leaders who aspire to greater levels or responsibility in the financial services industry. Members of the committee also help plan the association’s annual Young Professionals Conference, which is held each September.

Sargent has been with FCCB for 9 years. She is a graduate of Mansfield University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary English Education. In her current role as the Marketing Coordinator, Sargent is responsible for the development and effective delivery of corporate and market level marketing campaigns, customer communications, and the creation of marketing content. In 2019, Sargent was the recipient of the PA Bankers H.Y.P.E. (Highlighting Young Professionals Excellence) Change Agent Award for initiating new ways of doing things and encouraging others to embark on new projects and opportunities. She was also the 2022 recipient of the FCCB Team Spirit Award for her willingness to step up and energize the Marketing Team to take projects to the next level.  Sargent is a board member of HAVEN of Tioga County, a private non-profit agency that works with victims of domestic and sexual violence.
