We're proud to support our students with annual scholarships. Whether you work with us, bank with us, or you're heading into the agricultural industry, we want to help you take that next step. The deadline for all scholarship applications is April 15th.

First Citizens Commonwealth-Mansfield University Scholarship

Dedicated to Mansfield University students who are part of FCCB.

  • Eligibility: Employees, dependents of employees, local board directors, or their dependents.

  • Academic Requirement: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

  • Commitment: Requires 20 hours of community or school service per semester.

  • Enrollment: Open to full-time and part-time students (minimum 6 credit hours). Preference is given to full-time students.

  • Award: $500 per semester. This scholarship is not automatically renewed, but previous recipients are encouraged to reapply annually.

Customer Scholarship

Supporting the families who have grown with us over the years.

  • Eligibility: Available to students (or their immediate family members) who have been First Citizens customers for at least two years.

  • Criteria: Incoming college freshmen enrolled in a four-year degree program who reside within our market area.

  • Academic Requirement: Must maintain a 3.0 GPA through the end of freshman year.

  • Commitment: 36 hours of community service required each semester.

  • Award: $1,250 awarded over two semesters. Preference is given to full-time students.

Agricultural Scholarship

Cultivating the next generation of leaders in the ag industry.

  • Eligibility: High school seniors planning to pursue an agricultural-related field in college or trade school.

  • Criteria: Must reside within the First Citizens market area. Preference is given to students or families who bank with us.

  • Academic Requirement: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

  • Award: $1,000 annually. Payment is issued for the recipient's second year of study upon receipt of their prior year transcript.
