Environmental, Social, and Governance Committee

The mission of the ESG Committee is to ethically and positively impact the employees of FCCB, the communities we serve, our customers, and the financial institution and its stakeholders, by focusing on the 5 core initiatives of Health & Wellness, Environmental Sustainability, Financial Betterment, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), and Volunteerism.

The primary objectives of the Committee shall be to:

Encourage a unified focus on ways we impact our employees and the communities we serve specific to the five core initiatives.


Foster a culture of awareness and engagement throughout the Company as to each initiative and how we can all play a role in ensuring each initiative’s success.


Advise Management on strategies that affect and enhance the Company’s role and reputation among its stakeholders.


The Committee will lead the bank in implementing strategic efforts to advance these five core initiatives through the oversight of sub-committees focused on each initiative, further defined below.

  1. Health & Wellness - Mind, Body, and Spirit to help employees and communities at large

  2. Environmental Sustainability- Climate Action

  3. Financial Betterment – low interest loans, grants, EITC, education provided by financial and insurance professionals for employees and communities we serve

  4. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – Fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace

  5. Volunteerism – Participation in charitable organizations and activities
