Our robust fraud monitoring system identifies when a debit card purchase seems out of the norm for you ? like if your card number is being used to buy groceries in California when you live in Pennsylvania. If you have a cell phone on file with us, and we suspect fraudulent activity on your account, we’ll send you a text asking if it’s you making the purchase. If you reply “Yes,” you’ll be good to go! If you reply “No,” or don’t reply, all transactions will be blocked to safeguard your funds.
You can help too. Keep an eye on your account with our convenient online banking system and notify us immediately if you see anything suspicious. And if you’re traveling out of the area, it never hurts to give us a call so we can be better prepared.
