Mount Joy, Pennsylvania (August 2025) - First Citizens Community Bank (FCCB) is proud to announce that Jason Landis, VP, Ag Lending Team Leader, has successfully completed the program at the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado (GSBC). This significant academic achievement further enhances Landis's expertise in the financial sector, particularly in the field of agricultural lending, and underscores FCCB's commitment to continuous professional development.
The Graduate School of Banking at Colorado is nationally recognized as one of the premier banking schools in the country, offering an intensive curriculum designed to elevate banking professionals to the highest levels of leadership and strategic thinking. Over a demanding 25-month period, participants engage in a comprehensive program covering advanced topics in financial management, leadership, and the evolving landscape of the banking industry. Landis's successful completion of this program demonstrates his dedication to mastering the complexities of modern banking and his commitment.
Landis, a lifelong advocate for agriculture, brings a unique perspective to his role at FCCB, rooted in his personal farming experience. Growing up on a farm north of Manheim, Pennsylvania, he witnessed firsthand the dedication and hard work inherent in farming. Today, Landis continues to farm corn and soybeans alongside his wife and 4 children on the family’s land.
"Agriculture is more than just a job; it's a way of life that instills invaluable lessons," says Landis. "Being actively involved in farming keeps me connected to the challenges and innovations our customers face every day."
"We are incredibly proud of Jason's dedication and achievement in graduating from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado," said Sean McKinney, SVP, South Central Head of Lending. "This accomplishment reflects his commitment to excellence and continuous learning, which directly benefits our agricultural customers. Jason's blend of banking knowledge and hands-on farming experience makes him an asset to our team and the farming community we serve."
Landis believes his farm background provides a significant advantage in his banking career. "Staying current with new technologies and trends in agriculture allows me to better understand and advise our customers," he explains. "It also keeps me engaged with the community, helping to identify and address local banking needs."
