FCCB Launches Downtown Mansfield Revitalization Effort with New Expansion Plans

Mansfield, PA— First Citizens Community Bank (FCCB), a fixture in the Mansfield community for over 150 years, has taken the first step in a larger vision to combine its local corporate team - right into the heart of the borough of Mansfield.
As part of their long-term commitment to the community, FCCB recently acquired and removed several underutilized, deteriorating buildings in downtown Mansfield. These properties represented an opportunity to invest in the revitalization of Main Street in a way that honors the past while building for the future.
“This is about more than space - it’s about purpose,” said Randy Black, President and CEO of FCCB. “We’re like a family at FCCB, and the vision is to bring our family together in one location so we can better support not only our team, but the borough and the businesses of downtown Mansfield. We believe thriving towns need thriving local employers, and we’re proud to be part of that equation.”
While still in the early stages of planning, the project is focused on consolidating FCCB’s local satellite corporate offices into downtown Mansfield. This move is a clear signal that FCCB is not looking to relocate its corporate headquarters to a larger city, a trend many companies follow, but is instead investing in the town it has called home since inception.
FCCB is committed to completing the project in accordance with borough ordinances and with respect for the fabric of downtown Mansfield. The revitalization effort includes hiring local contractors and subcontractors, ensuring dollars stay local and help fuel the regional economy. These workers, in turn, support local businesses, from lunch spots to supply stores, creating a ripple effect that benefits many.
“As one of the largest employers in the region, keeping our corporate headquarters on Main Street means more than convenience, it means continued support for a vibrant local economy,” said Black.
FCCB’s investment in Mansfield isn’t new. As a community bank, FCCB contributes to local initiatives through donations, sponsorships, and volunteerism. From supporting food pantries and fire departments to sponsoring school programs and local events, FCCB’s footprint in the community goes far beyond banking.
“Community banks like FCCB put dollars back into the towns they serve. We don’t just do business here, we live here, we raise our families here, and we give back here,” said Black. “This project is the next chapter in that story.”
