Ariana Torres to Lead Newly Opened FCCB Kennett Square Office

12/10/2020

MANSFIELD, PA (December 2020) On November 12, 2020 FCCB (First Citizens Community Bank) opened the doors to their new full-service office located at 741 West Cypress Street, Kennett Square. Ariana Torres has joined the Bank to provide leadership to the office and the market. In her new role, Torres will prepare the staff to meet the financial needs of clients, including loan and deposit services, while assimilating the community to the FCCB brand – a bank large enough to offer a wide-range of competitive products and services, yet small enough to provide the personal customer service for which community banks are known.

Torres brings 6 years of banking and customer service experience to the Kennett Square team. Most recently, she was a Financial Center Supervisor at Fulton Bank, where she was responsible for the implementation of the organization’s customer experience program. Her time spent resolving customer concerns and monitoring employee engagement will be of great value to FCCB as their newest location comes to life in the Kennett Square market. For over ten years, Torres has been a team organizer for the Great Strides Cystic Fibrosis Walk and also volunteers at the Read2Dream Community Literacy Event. She graduated from Delaware Community College and resides in Oxford with her family.

“At FCCB, we look for branch leaders who are connected to their community, invested in their customers, and determined to achieve excellence,” said David Richards, SVP, Market Executive. “We have a history of being recognized for customer satisfaction and quality service, and believe Ariana has what it takes to coach her staff to deliver the quality of customer service that has become our brand.”

The new Kennett Square office lies between FCCB’s Lancaster County, Pennsylvania locations and their newly acquired Delaware Offices. In April, the Bank acquired MidCoast Community Bank, headquartered in Wilmington Delaware. The move to Kennett Square makes a lot of sense for the $1.85 billion Bank. From their Lancaster County locations, FCCB was already serving customers in the Kennett Square market, and many former MidCoast customers reside in the area. Furthermore, the agricultural opportunities were appealing to FCCB, considering their strong focus and significant expertise in the industry.

The Kennett Square office offers consumer and business deposit and loan options (including mortgages and home equity loans), cash management services, investment services, and a 24-hour drive-up ATM. The lobby and drive-thru banking lanes are open Monday – Thursday 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and Saturday 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Several members of their staff are fluent in Spanish, which enables them to work with a wider customer base, helping the Bank fulfill the financial needs of more families and businesses in the community.

First Citizens Community Bank (FCCB) offers a strong line of mortgage and real estate loans, high-interest rewards checking, trust and investment services, and cash management services that help businesses save time and money. They are headquartered in Mansfield, Pennsylvania, and currently operate 31 offices throughout Tioga, Bradford, Potter, Clinton, Centre, Union, Lebanon, Lancaster, Schuylkill, Berks, and Chester counties in Pennsylvania, Allegany County, New York, and New Castle, and Kent Counties in Delaware.
