FCCB Supports South Philadelphia Safety with Donation to The Broad Street West Civic Association

Mansfield, PA — FCCB is pleased to announce a donation to The Broad Street West Civic Association, a community-based organization in South Philadelphia. This contribution directly supports the Civic Association's initiative to install additional poll cameras at key intersections, working to enhance public safety throughout the neighborhood.

The new poll cameras will be maintained and monitored by the Philadelphia Police Department, providing a sustained effort to improve the quality of life for all residents. This initiative directly supports The Broad Street West Civic Association's mission to make the neighborhood safer and more appealing. This commitment to fostering safer, more vibrant communities is a core value for FCCB, extending beyond financial services.

"Our commitment at FCCB has always been to be genuinely invested in the communities we serve," said Scott Green, Manager of FCCB's Broad and Porter office in South Philadelphia. "The Broad Street West Civic Association is doing important work right here in South Philadelphia. This effort to enhance safety through new poll cameras is exactly the kind of grassroots initiative we're committed to supporting. It's about more than just banking; it's about investing in the well-being of our neighbors."

FCCB's commitment to the communities it serves was recently recognized when it was honored with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh's (FHLBank) 2025 Pillars of the Community Award. This highly esteemed award is FHLBank's highest organizational honor, recognizing financial institutions that demonstrate exemplary commitment to community development and effective use of FHLBank's community products. FHLBank programs enable local lenders, such as FCCB, to support mortgage lending, small business loans, and community development projects, even during economic downturns. Its programs are instrumental in promoting affordable housing and community development, with at least 10% of its net income dedicated to the Affordable Housing Program (AHP). This partnership enables banks like FCCB to say "yes" to more customers, thereby fostering homeownership, small business development, and the revitalization of underserved areas.

Based in Mansfield, Pennsylvania, FCCB operates 39 community offices strategically positioned across Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, and New Jersey.
