MANSFIELD, PA (December 2013)…First Citizens Community Bank has made a contribution of $6,000 to the Tioga County Foundation through the Pennsylvania Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program, a program which allows for-profit businesses in our County to qualify for state tax credits.
The Tioga County Foundation will use the funds to support local innovative educational programs for public schools in Tioga County to support local career development and school-to-work efforts.
"First Citizens is pleased to partner with local organizations in supporting programs that help our area youth plan for their future careers," stated Jeff Carr, SVP, First Citizens Chief Retail Banking Officer. "These young people are our future, and we must ensure they get the support they need to become productive and contributing adults in our communities."
